The media, academia, Hollywood, politicians from both sides of the aisle live their lives and jobs from ivory towers. They think their crap don't stink and have forgotten where they came from. The SOB's have secondary jobs based upon the people who do real work for a living. They would not exist if it wasn't for the people who work with their hands for a living. They think they're intellectuals, I see them as leeches. I've said it before, I don't trust anyone who's never worked a job in their life where they didn't get dirt, grease or blood on their hands. We work these jobs and pay our dues. I remember all the crap and dirt I shoveled, the solder burns on my hands, the welding/burning fumes I've inhaled. I deeply respect the people who've made a career of it.

I'm convinced politicians wear ties to restrict the oxygen they use so as to save it for the people who really need it.

I remember in the 1980's, Jeff Cooper had a column in Guns and Ammo magazine. He called it the CLAM establishment...Congressional Left+Academia+Media.
