The mighty LAR Grizzly!

Ian makes it sound like this is the best Magnum autoloader around, given the quirks of some of its peers. Anyone ever own one? Is .45 Win Mag still available? The 10mm kit for this is interesting, the Grizzly should be able to easily handle the hottest of the hot 10mm loads.

.45 win mag is pretty equivalent to .44 mag so I'd say yes, easily.

But that is why I'm not a fan of hollow points. Fat dudes already have an edge compared to skinny dudes in regards to penetration to vitals. Now put a barrier between them that'll flatten out the hollow point and it's even worse.

Use a slow moving round that has a hard time getting through barriers that flatten them out and it's even worse after going through that barrier.

Thats a pretty stout round!
