I think it's a very interesting question he brings up. Why is that the media will always bring in "experts" on a given topic, but won't bring forth any average gun owners to get their perspectives on safety and on how they've been responsible owners?

It's somewhat preaching to the choir, especially here on NYGF, but it's an important talking point that maybe isn't being emphasized enough. Namely, a real conversation about firearms in this country must also include firearms owners. It can't be purely an intellectual exercise without any experience from anyone who is law abiding.

Also found it not surprising the white house denied Colion Noir a chance to ask Obama questions on guns during a town hall back in 2013.

Because "they" view the average American gun owner as "ignorant trash" . If it wasn't for all the "ignorant trash" the NRA would not exist and they don't want the general public to know that. Plus, the people "they" would bring in as "average" would be shills and all agree with AR-15 confiscation. My 2 cents

It is an "AGENDA"...

So called experts are selected not based upon their impartial opinion, but to provide reinforcement for an opinion the presenter wishes to "PUSH" to those receiving it. It's steering and called brain washing! And there's a great many who are susceptible to it. Great stuff is you only need one or two, who then digest and regurgitate it all as fact to spread it around, and they only learned one side of any discussion, no other information is allowed to be entered or accepted because they know it all.

Now add the fail safe indoctrination of young minds, a huge push rodsght now by the progressive left... The Nazi's - Hitler Youth, Koumer Rouge, the Re-education camps of China, the recent use of youth with the Radical Muslim movement, Africa's radicals... All utilize children knowing full well it creates a well supplied army that will grow and accept their early teachings as fact and the only way!

Ever wonder why our own form of Gov't is so lightly covered, let alone the Constitution in schools? The fact that 30% of eligible voters actually vote says it all...

Teen Second Amendment Advocate Pulled from Speakers Lineup at School Gun Assembly
A 17-year-old student at Farmington High School, a public school in Connecticut, has been advised by the student activities director that she will not be allowed to speak during a school assembly on March 14 to support the nationwide student walkout for gun control. The student, Ashley Dummitt, was originally asked by the organizers of the rally to give her conservative, pro-Second Amendment views to the assembly in the name of bipartisanship, but the school administration has since blocked her participation.

Here's what Ashley said in her Facebook post:



So apparently I am no longer allowed to speak at the gun reform rally my school is hosting? I just received this email from the office:




“Hi Ashley-I am the Student Activities Director here at FHS. I am writing to you because it has come to my attention that you have asked to speak at the assembly on 3/14 on behalf of the NRA and CCDL [Connecticut Carry Defense League] point of view. As someone who has supported student voices being heard here at FHS, I understand your desire to be heard, but I do not think this is the correct venue to do so. The rally will support student voices, but will first and foremost act as a tribute to the victims of the FL shooting and other tragedies like it. I encourage you to share your views at other events and would be happy to work with you to create your own if you would like. I know that the Young Moderators club is meeting next week- that is just one example of a great venue to engage in a bipartisan discussion on the topics you suggested. Thanks”



This ‘student voices’ rally is strictly on the topic of gun reform. For the school to restrict this being bipartisan makes me beyond angry. I do not know how to handle this situation. Where is my freedom of speech? Don’t I have the right to be able to represent all voices in this town? Any advice?



In other words, she can have her free speech as long as it's somewhere else, in front of different people.

This guy Mark Hertling is a disgrace to the uniform.
I, and apparently thousands of other soldiers and patriots have let him know. For awhile all of his social media accounts were shut down due to the negative response to this video.
He says he served for over 30 years.
So, he is either a liar, or completely inept, to the point of mentally handicapped.
Suggesting an AR-15 has multiple firing options, saying an AR bullet is more dangerous and the damage is "irreversible".
He and his family need to know that because of this 2 minute video, his entire career in the Army is beyond tarnished, its null and void.

He is a well known anti gun activist.
He believes guns are for cops and military.
