So there are acceptable levels of crime in your worldview?
Where do you draw the line? Theft? Aggravated theft? Grand theft? Rape? Murder?
At what point do you consider it "ok" for someone to defend themselves and their property from someone who obviously does not care about the Law?
If a criminal doesn't want "the death penalty" they should stop being criminals. what happens is on them, not the person defending themselves.

If you have to ask that question, I suggest you turn your carry permit in for the sake of you and your family. I said it before but a person has more responsibility carrying a handgun than one without. Stealing tires...stealing stuff in a garage...all can be replaced. How does one deal with a multi million lawsuit after the fact even if judged a justifiable shooting. (and how can that happen...ask OJ )
