Saw a buck trying to lock down a doe in a cornfield all morning yesterday. They must have been chasing throughout the night, as they more or less stayed in one place, laying in the field, for hours. So I think it's either here or pretty close (Southern Tier).

Well, we were driving Saturday night in Fairport when a very nice buck ran into the side of the car in front of us took out the mirror and smashed his driver's and rear doors. The buck did a flip in front of us, slid onto the shoulder of the road and limped off into a field. I think he was basically OK. Given his nonchalant attitude towards 4000 pound moving vehicles, I'd say he was thinking with the little head. If that helps answer your question!
Other than that, we had 4 doe in our front yard a couple days ago and 2 bucks were still together across the street that paid them no mind.

Dragged a nice eight pointer out of my woods for a guy last week, its neck was swollen like you would expect when they are in full rut. I also get a whiff of that spicy aroma once in a while while I walking around the woods.

Sunday morning out hunting before watching Bills. I saw multiple bucks chasing does. The first rut sign in two weeks of hunting. 5 days ago still saw a bachelor group - 2 four points and a six together hanging out and feeding

Driving around today for work I saw 6 bucks dead in the roadways so yeah it’s here. Erie and Niagara counties.

I've been watching a real nice buck in my back field for the last week. Had a spike horn looking to start a battle but the big buck didn't bite. This morning things changed, the doe were running and bucks were chasing. 11 more days till gun season at home. I'm hoping to get in another Northern Tier hunt this weekend.

Heard chasing on Saturday but it was right before shooting hrs ended. Seeing a lot of scrapes and rubs but have only seen a button buck and doe so far. This is state land, I haven't hunted the private property yet. Going to hunt there this weekend and hope things are moving there.

Beautiful last evening of Bow here in Erie Cnty. at by buddy’s place in Springville. I’ve Seen 7 doe so far but unfortunately nothing within bow range.My buddy just saw a Monster 8 point from his treehouse stand but couldn’t get a shot off . Still have about 2 hours to go , then it’s led slingin tomorrow morning!
