You do not need permit for a cooking. You are allowed 10 sqft. of cooking fire anywhere in the state. I used to get called for homeless guys trying to keep from freezing to death in the bitter cold. If they had a cracker on a stick cooking it was legal. The government is not allowed to restrict you from trying to feed your children is the way an old fire chief explained it to me. He learned it from an old chief from the Depression.

Now, upon there release in which they have been deemed fit enough to go back out in to society, why can they not have the same rights as any other free person? Because they're violent felons? If they can't be trusted enough in society, why let them out at all?

And don't get me started on non-violent, victimless offenders.

If you can't trust them with guns, you can't let them out of prison, it's that simple.

They can have the gun in 5 mins regardless of what law you pass, they just need to decide to spend $100 for a gun instead of a bag of crack.

Even thought most of the town resident live on less the 1/2 acre land.

Or the Dec regulation that limit the amount of rounds in you fire arm afield while hunting . or how about shotgun only hunting area they are restricting you use of a firearm you can't carry a handgun with you afield. All of these regulation, and ordnances are nothing more then a levels of gun control those should be done away with as well.

None of what you typed above infringes on someone being able to acquire a firearm. It doesn't take an anti lawnmower law in Brookhaven to keep people from mowing at 2am.

You miss the simple fact, that the laws you say are so critical to the function of society, don't exist in many places in the US, and they do just fine.

I live in a trailer park just out of the village , I shoot woodchucks here in the park all the time , i got permission from all the neighbors per dec reg ..

I never said that law abiding citizen shouldn't be able to get firearm but the fact that there needs to be some control over the access to firearm. I don't see having to buy your suppressor from a FFL and have a nics check as a infringement but more of a pain in the ass.
The reality is if you declassified all class 3 firearm you would simply open the flow of those weapons into the hands of criminals. I've talk to a few FFLs on the Island and when they tell people they need a nics check they walk out.

The amount of restriction that we the law abiding citizen have on us is ridiculous, but to think that doing away with all gun control is even more ridiculous.

The hearing protection act dose away with the cost of the stamp and if I remember a couple of other hurdles

As gun owner we fight and fight to repeal the gun laws instead of fight to have the law enforce.

Such as not let gun charges pleed out to lesser charges. Just look at all the plea deals Suffolk county did last year.
My cousin had 3 out 4 arrest that had guns involved lowered to simple assault and robbery. Why is that. Your out raged that you'll need to go to FFL to get your suppressor but do nothing to pressure your DA's into stopping that practice which would do more for the rights of gun owner then screening "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"
