I don't know about the Navy, but in the Army you were called out by your Last Name if by someone that outranked you or by Rank and Last name if you were addressing someone who does out rank you....IF you were called out by Rank and Name by a superior you were either in trouble or going to be praised. "Sir" or "Mam" were the standards for Officers or when addressing Civilians.... pretty damn simple.

Totally believe it. That was immediately my first suspicion when I heard that story.
They likely somehow got into the plants SCADA and screwed with some valve settings.

Why can't it be them? I'm neither pro nor anti Russia.
I readily admit this Ukraine war isn't as portrayed in the media and that Russia isn't as bad as they are made out to be.
But why is it laughable Russia would do something like that? IMO it's actually fairly logical for this. We are actively supplying munitions to kill their troops, we are in the middle of an economic war with them which they see as existential and the result of who wins will potentially have dire consequences for the USD as the global reserve currency.
Given the fake allegations against Russia (Russia gate hoax, DNC server hack) the bar for establishing their guilt for this or any other event needs to be pretty high.
That doesn't mean the Russian government isn't a cruel dictatorship or Putin is a nice guy. But they have become a very convenient scapegoat.
If this story is true I want to see the evidence. I will not simply take this administration's word for anything.
