This potential civil war will not be just between the Northern and Southern States.
Individual States will be torn asunder due to the divisiveness being forced on the Country by the Democrats.
NY will be a prime example. Everywhere outside of the big cities, NYC/Albany/Syracuse/Rochester will proudly wave "We Stand With Texas" flags. der eyebrows fuhrer will find that she is unwelcome outside of her little enclaves, and Stumblefuckshitshispants as well.

That's a genuine civil war.

What we had from 1861-1865 was unique in that ignoring small pockets of sympathizer counties it essentially was a clearly defined "war between the states" and not a "traditional civil war"

A real civil war is neighbor vs neighbor and not knowing if you'll be safe driving to work that day.

Plot twist: Texas stops oil delivery to only the states that are not in support of their efforts. The backlash from states affected by increased fuel cost hurts Biden and the feds tremendously.

This is a very interesting story to follow.

This is a genuine power struggle between state and the feds. Other states are now getting involved and people are throwing support behind a movement.

This could get really interesting. It's perhaps the biggest challenge to the sovereignty and unity of the "United" States in the past century.

If New York State knowing violates the law and the US Constitution, then why worry about following any laws that the Uni-Party passes. You can not choose which laws to enforce and which laws to ignore. It's all or nothing.

Since this forum is widely known as being monitored, the lack of replies to your question will be telling. Odds are there are forum members here who have already made their decision to disregard what they perceive as NY enacting unconstitutional laws which directly undermine SCOTUS rulings that if NY chooses to not follow SCOTUS and the constitution then they as citizens can do the same to NYs arbitrary decrees.

No. To them words and actions have meaning.

I think they're sick of being pushed around and bullied. If anyone has ever met a Texan you would know they're stubborn as hell once they make their mind up.

The federal governments singular most important duty is national level protection. Protect our borders. That is their single greatest duty. Not only has our federal government utterly failed, they are preventing the state from doing the job the federal government should be doing and actively undermining our borders. It's complete lunacy that this is happening. Unless of course the federal government is actively trying to subvert the country... Then no wonder they are upset that some states have had enough and are making moves to stop it an enforce the border. That opens up another long line of questions.
