The Texas Military Department confirms the Texas National Guard has seized control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass.

And is restricting Border Patrol from accessing the area, saying the Feds “perpetuate illegal crossings”. This is the area where Border Patrol has been cutting TX razor wire. Razor wire and fences are now deployed to block the area.

Fantastic. I found our next presidential candidate. If this is city property they can’t stop them from keeping illegals out. I could see where deportations might fall under the Feds but not this. I can’t wait to see how Obama handles this, oh sorry Biden.

Texas needs to ensure the lawsuit takes place in Texas so they can arrest any and every govt person who shows up for that lawsuit, and literally bury them under the fucking Alamo. None of those fucks deserve to see the inside of a court room, and this is how every DOJ lawsuit should be answered from this point.

I just find it interesting that it's DOJ that is concerned with securing our borders. Shouldn't securing our borders be the job of the military? Isn't that in the Constitution or am I mistaken? Maybe it's just the "federal government" that is referenced in the Constitution and empowered to secure the borders. IDK.

Last Wednesday, Texas troopers took control over Eagle Pass’s 47-acre Shelby Park along the Rio Grande, denying federal Border Patrol agents entry to the park.

Members of the Texas National Guard have taken over the area and are refusing orders from the Biden administration to allow U.S. border agents in. Texas troopers have begun arresting migrants for the first time since taking control of Shelby Park near the town of Eagle Pass, Texas.

"Troopers are arresting illegal immigrants for criminal trespass at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass," he said. "Troopers are enforcing criminal trespass on single adult men & women. The State of Texas will maintain a proactive posture in curbing illegal border crossings between the ports of entry."

Texas is refusing to comply with a cease-and-desist letter from the Biden administration over actions by the state that have impeded U.S. Border Patrol agents from accessing part of the border with Mexico.

In a letter to the Department of Homeland Security, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton rejected the Biden administration’s request for the state to “cease and desist” its takeover of Shelby Park, an epicenter of southwest border illegal immigration in Eagle Pass.

"Because the facts and law side with Texas, the State will continue utilizing its constitutional authority to defend her territory, and I will continue defending those lawful efforts in court," Paxton wrote.

What really needs to happen is that we need the militia to secure the boarders. We the people need to take care of it, because evidently the government can't handle securing our own country.

To me, this isn't much different than the British invading. Possibly worse because of the amount of illegals crossing per day.

I would have no problem helping secure our borders if someone organized it.
