Fraud aside I still believe she is the only dem who could have beat Trump in a straight up fight. She ticks all the right boxes for dems plus she's smart and a Vet. The dems can't control her so they torpedoed her early.
Agreed. She is about the best chance for me to ever support a democrat.
Agreed.
I'd have no desire to vote for her given many of her Liberal positions, I'd find myself "less aggrieved" if she were the Democrat to whom my candidate lost in the general election.
But, I'd find myself "less aggrieved" if she were the Democrat to whom my candidate lost in the general election.
I will give you an example...
If the decision for President was between Tulsi and say a Mitt Romney, my vote would absolutely go to Tulsi.
Trump and Tulsi? Sorry, Trump would receive that vote.
+1She is about the best chance for me to ever support a democrat.
Yes. Back when you'd say, "Oh well...we lost. But, we'll just muddle through the policy disputes and try again in four years."I think she represents what a democrat used to be, before they went all Marxist
I am somewhere in between like and love her.
I am actually glad that she did not win the nomination.
Why? Wouldn't that mean that no matter what someone you'd be OK with would win?
The way I look at Tulsi is this: she's one of the few Democrats who hasn't gone full overboard with the Marxist agenda. In my view, she is actually quite moderate on most issues. This is someone I could get behind. She also, from my viewpoint, cares about America and her actions, even if I disagreed with them, would be coming from a place where she thought they would genuinely benefit out country.
Sad to say I can't say that about Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer...the list on the left just goes on and on and on...
That WAS the Dems best shot to get their preferred candidate, Harris, into the Oval Office.
Pretty much echo GOPerfect's sentiment on her exactly. I wouldn't have voted for her against Trump anyway, but there are definitely Republicans that I'd vote for her over.
She, Yang and Sanders never had a chance though. They weren't cut from the same mold the Dems like to pull their half-baked candidates from. Bernie tried hard to get in line enough to be given a shot from the Tammany Hall style Dem cabal, but they want true drones who can say "I've always thought this way," not anyone who's ever expressed on the national stage even a hint of not being in line with the current Dem orthodoxy.
