Interesting analysis. Was that guy a lefist or Democrat? He came out like he was a progessive elitist but in the middle while comparing and contrasting trumps speech through a progressive/conservative interpretation comparison he was pretty harsh on how democrats view him so I wasn't sure where the writer was coming from


This is a quote from the article that is very insightful and telling of the state of politics "

Continue to predict the downfall of Trump in 2020 if not before, and great victories for Democrats in congressional races in 2018, and we’ll see if it works. That’s my hope. I fear, however, such stories will only lead to complacency among the Democratic electorate."




That right there in a nutshell is where we are. The coastal elites and social justice warriors all live in their echo chamber where they and their left leaning media keep agreeing with each other all day every day in a big circle J while making no attempt to understand our points of view or self reflect nor do they care to they just think they are right and how could anyone else not agree with them. This country has as big of a political divide as in the 1850s and idont see either side giving in.

Screw the elites, screw hollywood, screw the media, screw the progressives, screw the liberals and screw the democrats. My vote is my vote and it counts. The rest of NY has to realize this and get off their brainwashed asses every election.
