The world will not give up Russian energy long-term. If they really want to, the term will become Putin/Kremlin energy, and there will have to be a regime change so the world can pretend it feels better about *who* it gets its oil from. Regime change will require a heavy US involvement, and even if it is indirect, Russia would retaliate. That probably won't end well.
Ukraine and Russia should sort this out. Not Biden, not the US, EU, NATO, etc. Even if Russia takes half of the country, why should anyone but the Ukrainians really give a fuck? If they don't like it, they better start fighting a little harder.
BTW, just wait and see who the dead civilians are.
