Yes but Sherman was triumphantly advancing into rebel territory. The Russians are retreating in an embarrassing manner from geography they claim is theirs. Their focus should be to stabilize the front not waste weaponry on civilians. Makes them look weak.

Totally different scenarios. Hitler wasn't a puppet of a larger alliance, which was trying to see what he (they) can get away with and raising the stakes, testing red lines. There were numerous attacks on Russian infrastructure prior to Crimean bridge before Putin finally responded. It was very thick red line.

Russia only began to mobilize. Belarus just pledged a bigger support and offered their territory for Russian military operation. Few towns in Eastern Ukraine changing hands is not going to be a deciding factor in this war. U.S. media and retired generals shilling for military-industrial complex are not a good reference on Russia's capabilities.

BTW, Yesterday Belarus summoned Ukrainian ambassador and gave an official warning that any attack on Belarussian territory will be responded to by Belarussian armed forces. So if Russian forces operating from Belarus come under attack, Belarussian military will be deployed as well.

Some of that equipment has a shelf life.

This isn't depleting our stocks, this is just rotating them for freshness.

I'd read that the Gen 1 Javelin systems were reaching the end of their service life (for whatever reason). They were going to be relegated to being used as training units. Those were instead shipped to Ukraine.

This aired 7 years ago, long before Z-day invasion of Ukraine. I can see why the Russians don't want this asshole or troops comanded by people like him near their border. It doesn't even occur to him, he is calling for a genocide and look at the agreeing smile on Cavuto's face.

IIRC they have a non replacable battery built in with a finite shelf life.

After a couple decades it gets risky if they will even fire.

On several occasions I had a chance to confront these ass clowns in person. I am not a violent man, but I can put them in their place at least verbally.
Russians "camped out" in Donbass since 1500's. This idiot became aware of Donbass existence in the last decade or so and yet he feels justified to come out on National TV and call for extermination of Donbass main ethnic group. One can only imagine what this evil doer calls for when the cameras are off. Words have consequences and with America behind them, Ukro- Nazis operate freely, while U.S. media white washes it as Putin's propaganda.
I spoke to people from Donbass, there are some who came to this country and they are actually angry that Russia didn't come to their defense sooner.
