Half of "the people" voted for him. I'm not sure we collectively deserve the respect anymore either.

The flag represents the ideals the country was founded on, so it always merits respect.

But the government and any office in it only represents the current condition of the country, so I'm not so sure it's worthy.

The Ukraine cannot win, no matter what. The best thing for them to do, to save thousands of lives is to surrender. They do not have any chance at all in winning.

Thats how I see it . Ukraine has its best troops in the field now , Russia is building a war machine that will produce arms and soldiers every week . Supposedly massing 1.5 million man army now. they can probably repeat that every 4-6 months for years.
