Yeah I know we have troops in “the region.” Which is much different than getting involved. The US is posturing to make sure we have an intel picture in case this war widens to a nato country.

As I was "flipping" through stories on YouTube I came to realize that if I were writing a movie about a zombie apocalypse or WWIII it would have today's news playing in the background, Russia attacking Ukraine, Europe on edge. Then, England goes on full alert! Poland moves troops to the border, Hungary prepares for an attack. As things accelerate China begins moving troops to the India Border and Taiwan.
Then our hero reads the Fatima Prophecies: "If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated."
He then takes comfort in knowing we will have about a 10 minutes warning of an ICBM launch toward the US. Eleven minutes later, a bright flash and total unequivocal, equality will be achieved.

Those are some pretty significant losses.
There are reports of perhaps 2+ IL 76transports being shot down. Just 1 IL76 full of paratroopers is 100+ well trained troops, the flight crew and airlift capacity. That's no joke it will be noticed.

The Will of the soldier matter. The Russian soldiers for the most part are just doing a job they have been directed to do. The Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for their families, their homes, their neighborhoods and their country.

If Trump was going to truly drain the swamp, he would have to tackle the corruption in Ukraine. The oligarchs have funded their own militaries in previous color revolutions. Trump could wouldn’t be able to take them down without a fight. So if Trump is going to clean up Ukraine he would likely need boots on the ground to do it.
Enter Putin.
It’s no secret that Putin hates Soros as he banned him from Russia long ago, and it’s also no secret that Putin despised the “deep state” tactics of implementing color revolutions to overthrow pro-Russian leaders and install ones that would play ball with the “deep state”. It’s speculated by many that Putin could be working with Trump in the fight against the “deep state” and it’s hard to argue with. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
So think of the brilliance that might be taking place right now.
Boots on the ground were likely necessary to fully remove the problem in Ukraine, but Trump couldn’t invade Ukraine with US troops. Somebody else would have to do it. However, if somebody like Putin were to do it while Trump was president, it would make Trump look week and the media would have a field day.
What better time to clean up the mess in Ukraine than with Biden in office? Kills two birds with one invasion. You make the Biden administration and the MSM look like fools, while taking on the “deep state” in one of the most corrupt countries on the planet.
Putin is simultaneously helping Trump to serve up red-pills while fixing a problem that actually benefits the USA and the rest of the world – the denazification of Ukraine.
We won’t have any definitive answers until this blows over but make sure you guys are using the 24 – hour rule with news reports coming out about this stuff.

From the cheap seats it is starting to confirm that invasion gamble was ill conceived, weakly planned,and poorly executed. I personally don't see any outcome (except for the defense of one's family and future), that is worth the cost in assets, hardware, human life, propaganda, security, economies, or egos.
Yes. The logistics of pacifying and occupying Ukraine long enough to install a puppet gvt are staggering.
I don't think Russia has the resources. Especially after their initial heavy losses. Their advance has slowed considerably.
No chance Putin just quits. He will double down. He may get desperate and deploy tactical battlefield nukes. He will probably conclude he's going "all in" on taking Ukraine for his objective and The international community already hates them and sanctioned then what's the difference. He needs to save face and complete his objective.
