Thats why Russia cant win long term. I expected them to win short term . but the borders are to large and porous and with the assistance of the west. they will just bleed .

But the tin foil hat I'm wearing is thinking the obvious... Some of them will end up in the hands of terrorists or those who will use them not in their intendee purpose with no trace of it ever happening.

Are you ok if Putin attacks those planes on the tarmac in Poland? (Because if I was him I would. The minute they are transferred to Ukraine to be used against his military makes them a legitimate target)

Are you ok with NATO and the US being pulled in under article 5 if Russian missiles take them out in Poland?

Openly arming a country with fighter jets in the middle of a war with alliances involved opens up a whole can of worms and unintended consequences

Why in the world would nato not already have enough troops to bitch slap Russia in a conventional conflict? Their military is a joke. Surely nobody still believes anything else. In a nuclear war we’re probably screwed anyway.

Yes I’m good with more weapons to Russia. We need as many dead Russians as possible until they go back home. They are murdering thousands of civilians. So fuck the lot of them.

I’m hoping that a Russian patriot puts a bullet in Putin’s head. It’s the best way past this for everyone.

Totally agree. I've made that point earlier in the thread.

We just keep 1 upping it.

We went from donating Body armor, to night vision,to AT4s to javelins. Now NATO is arming Ukraine with a squadron of mig29s.


It's harder for Putin to justify and getting away with attacking a US commercial jet landing in kiyv days before the war starts. We were Shipping lethal munitions right before the airspace was closed.

Now we're giving them lethal aid to try and tip the balance of a war to kill Russians and effect the outcome of air superiority.

It's a significant increase

According to latest briefing. Any military aircraft taking off from the airfields of neighboring countries and flying into Ukraine, will open these countries to be considered as participants in the hostilities and treated accordingly.

They are also publicizing evidence on secret labs that produced biological and chemical weapons in violation of International law and close to their border.

This is getting interesting.

You seem to really be pushing for war, if it goes to ground warfare and they need more people, I am sure you will be one of the first in line.

This is NOT NATO's fight; this is not a fight that the US needs to get involved with. If the Ukrainians cannot fend for themselves and repel these invaders, fuck em.

It's a game of chicken. I posted somewhere in this thread about Romanian fighter jet crashing in the Black Sea, not far from Ukraine. So did Romanian rescue helicopter that came to search for survivors. They are calling it an accident, it's probably not. NATO is not going to evoke article 5 over a single incident. Most likely they will just downplay it and stop provoking more incidents.

It is inconceivable that ground warfare with Russia would go so badly that NATO would be short manpower. NATO’s air alone could turn the tide of the Ukraine war in a weekend—without even crossing into Russia.

I don’t want a nuclear war with Russia. If there could be any guarantee that things wouldn’t go there if we secured Ukraine airspace and turned its tanks into molten metal I am 100% behind that. NATO can do this with minimal loss of life.
