Wouldn't you be pissed if you were the family of one of the half million Russian soldiers killed or crippled ? Like "why aren't you fighting to win ?"
It was never an all out war. This is why it is called special military operation. Destroying Ukraine was never a goal, but it is an option.

Tell that to the families of the half a million dead Russians.
They're in the neighborhood of 10x the number of casualties they suffered in Afghanistan, and that was when they had the whole Soviet Union to draw from.
This number is way off, considering how many Russian troops were actually on the frontline.

How many do you think they lost in Afghanistan ?
We may never know, but it is easy to tell when the number is made up.
