Think I shot ok today.

Think I shot pretty good today at 25 yards. Used PPU match 75 grain .223. So far the PPU match 75 grain has been what the gun likes the best. Using Winchester white box 55 grain 5.56 the group opened up just slighter bigger than a quarter. I had fired 40 rounds prior to shooting this group so I am happy with it. The gun is more accurate than I am. Next will be to go to a 50 yard range and see how it does.

When you get out to 50 yards your groups will be twice that size.

Well for Xmas my girlfriends dad helped me to hand load some 75 grain .223 ammo and then set up some targets at 50 yards. Shot 3 five round groups on one target to get a feel and then shot 2 more 5 round groups one separate targets. I took my time between each shot and steady the rifle as best I could using the bipod and my hands. I think I did pretty decent.
