That's pretty terrifying.
I may have read a little to far into that article but it made me think....with all the corruption we've seen being boldly displayed this election cycle just look at what Hillary has gotten away with and that's all public knowledge now. Who's to say the deep state doesn't blackmail or threaten the electors to vote a specific way?
If you had an insanely powerful and corrupt group of uber elites threaten you or your family's safety to do their bidding on how to vote, what would you do?

Not worried about it. Historically there have been a few faithless ones. It's never swung an election. The only way it happens now is if more than thirty of them act that way. Don't worry about it. The butthurt on the left is severe and them asking these dudes to be faithless is like the petition after brexit asking immediately for another referendum. Nothing more than liberal tears. They will eventually dry out. They are just suffering from denial now. The first phase. They will grow eventually. We just need to give them time so they can have a good cry and laugh at them as they do it.
I certainly hope you are 110% correct, but the depth of the corruption and reach of the Deep State have both been shown to very deep and very long.

Even if they somehow get enough electors to flip, Congress, being fully in Republican hands, still has to approve the vote. They wouldn't accept it if the electorate went back on their pledges. Trump would still be president.
I didn't know Congress had to approve the Elector's "choice" - that's some consolation.

As was stated, 37 votes would need to "go rogue" in order for it to swing her way...that, and a host of other things. Not gonna happen. It was easier proposition for them to attempt to rig the election on 11/8 and that clearly didn't work out.
