Would it be worth trading a kahr mk9 for/towards a compact 1911? I'm thinking a Springfield Range Officer Compact. I realize it's a subjective question, but I'm curious what others' think. Thanks!

I like 1911's, so I'm bias towards the Springfield Range officer.
Imo the 1911 range officer is better looking. just my $0.02

Plus, I hear .45 kills their soul. kidding.

That new 1911 9mm is pretty sweet tho..just saw it in "Guns and Ammo" and started pondering if I wanna let the County come look at my "bolted down" safe though as I'd be crossing my limits of what my "God Given Rights" permission slip allows...

Yeah it is very nice. I checked one out at a local gun store. Has a great feel and weight. Unreal that they violate your rights like that!

Oh no doubt. Not really sure what I can reasonably expect for the Kahr in trade.
