The reason for this, is my little one is tall enough to reach the top of the nightstand but not old enough to understand to leave it alone. We usually keep the door closed but when my wife is putting laundry away and what not, kid could grab it. Probably wouldn't get the safety off or strong enough to pull the trigger but never say never.
I dont like the idea of a safe and fumbling with codes or finger prints.
This would only be until the kid is old enough to be taught.
Pros: out of sight, still easily accessible
Cons: not as easy as grabbing off the top of the nightstand.
I also have a concern it might collect more dust.
Maybe something like this?
Looking for suggestions and any issues I haven't thought of yet.
Before someone chimes in with you should be carrying.
I work from home and have a pistol in the bedroom and my office.
On the weekends I am carrying.
