I have the GS Extreme 2.0 earbuds.
They will be 2 years old this July.
They are the only ear protection I have used since I bought them.
I have over ear muffs from other companies, as well as in ear plugs from other companies. They all work, but I like the Axil GS Extremes the best.
I can hear people talking with the hearing enhancement (friends, instructors, etc.), play music from my phone, or answer calls, (personally I don't listen to music or take calls at the range...but I could if I wanted to). But loud sounds (including shots) are muffled perfectly.
Some folks don't like in ear anything, either because of comfort, fit, or an inability to size and insert them properly. I get that. I don't have any of those issues. If you're good with compressible foam inserts, and have ear canals from typical small to large, I recommend these.
I just got an email about Memorial day sales. If you want a copy, let me know.
That is one thing about Axil; their pricing is all over the place. Seems everything they sell goes on 50% off sales on a regular basis. That kind of crap I don't like, but...
I just suggest not paying full price for any of their products. Wait for the sale.
Good luck.
I have the GS Extreme 2.0 earbuds. Not happy with them at all.
Sound enhancement and the Bluetooth is okay. But for shooting, not nearly enough hearing protection for me.
