Right and your point? There are guns out there that don't have problems and have been proven in law enforcement and militaries throughout the world. Those guns don't have teething problems, are reliable, and have passed stringent tests that other militaries and police have put them through.

Type 1s have minor issues, type 2 seems to have fixed those, (or a $20 plate for a type 1 fixed flicker)
but as for all the current red dots that can realistically be added to a handgun slide the RMR (which was never intended to be a handgun sight) just works the best.
Yes others may have a larger window, or clearer class, or even slightly crisper dot, but sacrifice in other areas, such as durability and battery life. While the RMR has a fair sized window, good glass that is also strong, a nice dot, 2-4 years constant on battery life.
With that being said Aimpoint has just released (or should be very soon) an actual purpose built handgun red dot. And I look forward to gathering as much info about it as I can and see if that can become, the new gold standard, an equal option, or falls short.
As for my slide

Well I don't know where you are going with this noise. I have admitted to SIG's mistakes with the 320. I own 2 sigs, yes I am a fan they have run flawless. Sig is God? Ok there hardcharger!

Just checked the tracking on my slide and barrel and RMR. And it is out for delivery right now. Should be at Mod-K today.
Pumped, USPS got it there a day earlier than they said, which means one day less wait to get it back hopefully..

I bought a SIG range finder. I dropped it and it told me how far. Maybe my SIG's were made in the old country, or maybe someone doesn't really know much about SIG's, but from .380 to .45ACP and just about everything in between, I have never had a hint of trouble and they shoot true. Really, what more could you ask for.
