This article is horribly biased and misguided. I’d call it an outright lie actually. My opinion and interpretation of this has nothing to do with religion or no religion.
States fund private schools through a Boucher program and provide tax credit to private citizens from private citizen donations. I agree they can’t decide to fund some private schools and not others but the fact is there is no direct state funding to any private schools. All funds come from private donations and this article except for one blip on the radar emphasis its state funding to rile people up in a time we don’t need this.
I’m sure the state could just stop giving tax credits for donations to this program but all charitable donations are tax deductible something this article fails to point out as well.
