Most of those killed were women and children.

All these people in gov't with fancy degrees can't seem to find these terrorists and wipe them out? A 16 year with a facebook account could find them.

This is untenable. How much longer is the civilzed world going to accept this?

Its like with illegal drugs in the USA. If they got rid of drugs, the DEA, drug companies, drug rehabs.......etc would all be out of business.
Or if AIDS or cancer were cured, the big pharmaceutical companies would suffer.
If there is money and jobs, there are plenty of people to take advantage.
So, without terrorism, many pocketbooks would suffer.

"Let's allow terrorists to kill innocent people because it gives us job security" ... it's all fun and games until the terrorists take out someone close to you... then it's no longer a third world problem.

It's not the same for the terrorists here vs Europe...harder to get explosives and organize, plus anything done on a large scale would have the general public fighting them also....like those two who escaped from an upstate prison last year. The really scary part, is that in the long run, the odds of your government going off the rails and killing you are probably higher than your getting killed by a terrorist.

Despite all the fear mongering, your odds of being involved in a terrorist attack are miniscule.
