The stadium was built in such a way that the road to access the stadium, and some of the parking, was essentially behind home plate.
pop fly balls that went behind the batter and over the seating would invariably find a windshield.

we would place bets on which car would get hit.

Played un-organized baseball as a kid. Grew up a couple miles from Yankee Stadium. Went to the Stadium on Bat Day 1966, that was the first and last time. I still have the bat. Not a big fan of spectator sports in general so not a bit of interest in professional football either.

Fans are turning sports off. Sports will have to decide whether to stay woke or quietly back away from their positions to not cause contraversy.

The nfl did this by no longer showing kneeling players and the anthem. They stopped publicizing it hoping it goes away.

Given a direct reason why sports viewership is down. They can't hide blaming streaming services their own viewers are saying why they are tuning out.


People used to watch sports to escape politics. When sports thought going woke to appease twitter mobs was a good idea they pissed off a huge chunk of their customers. They are losing money as a result of going woke. Now sports leagues are going to try to find ways to slink away with their tails between their legs and not drawing any extra attention hoping fans return if the politics are removed.

I played little league and baseball in middle and high school.
I STILL have never watched an entire game of baseball. Its a tie between baseball and basketball for my least favorite sport.
I have no idea what my problem is......I do not like any sports......football, baseball, basketball, NASCAR, fencing, soccer.......hate it all.....except MMA.
Im pretty sure its because I like to do things, not watch things. I cannot stay still....I dislike TV and movies and im the only person I know who hates sleeping.
Seriously, I dislike bedtime because I wanna keep doing stuff.....its hard to explain. I sleep between 3-6 hours a night and have NEVER taken a nap.
I think I like MMA because it goes quick.....25 minutes is the longest a fight can last.....perfect for my attention span.
Anyways, a MLB boycott will be easy for me.....been doing it for 50 years.
