At a recent Senate hearing, climate experts claimed it would cost $50 trillion to make the country carbon neutral—and then admitted that it may not even work. Though the U.S. could sink trillions and trillions into green initiatives, it may not move the needle at all when it comes to temperatures.
In order to avoid what they believe could be a catastrophic outcome, climate activists testifying before the Senate want the country to essentially bankrupt itself by spending an additional $50 trillion, when the country already has a ballooning debt of $31 trillion, to try and achieve the seemingly mythical carbon neutral status by 2050.
However, when pressed about the success of this method during a Climate-Related Economic Risks and Their Costs to the Federal Budget and the Global Economy committee hearing by Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana, they all admitted that the United States could financially destroy itself with no impact on global temperatures at all.

Yes it would or could possibly go back to where it was but water and air move with temperate differences so you could never pinpoint it. I believe you are analyzing this incorrectly. The ice is revealing what the earth was like in a certain timeline .. Think of tree rings. A build up of ice would tell us of a cold condition. that and things like dust , pollen in the sample would give hints as to the condition of the earth... at that given period. .. They are looking at the differences in that core sample. I believe all this storage and analysis of the ice is done at below zero temperatures .

Analyzing the content of the samples makes sense but what are the temperature readings for? We know that at the surface it will be minimum 32F and that necessarily must continue all the way down. Almost definitely getting colder the deeper down the drill goes.

I think he dumbed it down for the audience. They can determine temperature based on isotope composition compared to a known standard. If he started throwing around words like mass spectrometers and deuterium the audience gets lost. Its a lot easier to say "really accurate thermometer".

I have been citing these ice core samples for years!!
Not just ice cores, but sediment "reading" absolutely proves the climate zealots are incorrect in their claims.
For easy to understand FACTS on this topic, there is no better than Randall Carlson.
He is a scientist, but more of a collector of other scientists information who makes this stuff interesting and easy.
He cuts out the bullshit and just gives good info from REAL scientists.
As more scientists disagree with mainstream scientists, I believe science will soon go the same way as main stream media.

If people just understand that there is good, peer reviewed science that humans started keeping track of the climate and its changes during one of the coldest periods in 10,000 years, maybe this will break through the brainwashing.
