The liberal progressive agenda will promote that in a civilized society we don't have to worry about things like this. It's amazing how conveniently forgetful they are to avoid contemporary examples of Gov't sponsored slaughter of its civilian population or the ineffective Gov'ts that can't protect its citizens when mayhem breaks loose. They dismiss "human nature" and it's propensity for evil! We are the only creature that "kills for sport"... We are the only creature that will kill for possessions, no matter how temporary they may be. We are the only creature that "blushes" or needs to...

Society and history had come to be largely due to the ability of communities to have farmers and herders produce surplus which allowed a warrior class, arts, etc., to emerge. The flock herders and apple pickers sat behind walls while others guarded them. The sheep dog came to be, it became embedded in certain DNA or what we call instinct to these groups of men. Nothing wrong with either mind you, it is what it is... But today, those herders and apple pickers want the sheep dogs to stand down, they want them all to be neutered because they themselves can't cope with their self image. They want the protection provided by sheep dogs, but consider it, the sheep dog, grotesque. They live in a dream world afar from reality and reject any form of realism which may evaporate their imagined utopia. They cringe at the thought of the reality that survival comes to the fittest, that Darwin was right, and the meek shall not inherit the earth. They can't handle the truth, so at every chance, they try to disassemble ten's of thousands of years of DNA programming... It won't work! They think that writing something on paper will permeate the collective psycho of the animal who preys upon the weak, the villain who kills for fun, or the destitute that will do it out of necessity. Crimes of passion, crimes of opportunity, but crimes all the same. Criminals don't pause to evaluate the consequences of their actions or they wouldn't act against societal norms. It's all there, plain to see, with the exception of the delusioned pacifist tree huggers who won't accept reality.
