This is why I hate going to local gun shops

You end up with lunch time guns. So I'm low on small pistol primers and 38 special heads. Let me head over to the gun shop down the road during lunch break. Damn it. There's the gun I was just looking at on youtube. So I bought it. I must say, it feels really good in the hand and the trigger is sweet. Now I have a nice little pocket carry gun for short gun shop trips. Don't know if that's a good thing though.

I’ve actually been carrying it a lot. Was originally wife’s gun when her permit comes through but I may have to buy her another one.

Carrying it in the waistband feels like nothing is there compared to the tank Glock 26 I’m used to. Recoil and trigger is great as well. I’m considering it as a daily carry.

So you carry waistband? Which holster? I bought it expressly for pocket carry although on the waist would be sweet. I have the +1 (factory) mag on it's way. The purchase I have on the gun is perfectly fine but for the miniscule extra footprint you get with the plus one and extra purchase you get I think it's worth it. And of course you get +1. I looked at the HYVE +2 but it seems like that makes it too big. Glad to hear you like yours. I shot it this afternoon and it's good in every way.

I use the same holster it came with. Just put it in my waistband at 2 o’clock.

I have lehigh defense extreme defender projectiles coming in as well. I'm really sold on them and think they are the best all year, all around projectile you can buy. No worries of clogging and performing like a fmj and they seem to be able to go through anything and still hit the mark.

I use Fiocchi FMJ. Loaded to European standards at about 1000 FPS. Almost like a 9mm.

I wonder if anyone offers a service to install fiber optics into the sights. I would try it myself but the sights are so small that it would take precision I wouldn't be comfortable with. I can see the sights just fine but fiber optics sure would be nice.

The LC9S is pretty sweet also. I bought the LC9 before the striker fire model was released. A friend has the LC9S and the trigger is a world apart from the LC9! If I could get a decent price for the LC9 I would trade it off for the LC9S but no one wants to give me near what I paid for it!

I have three holsters for my LCP, ankle, pocket and OWB, my back is two fucked up to carry IWB.

I figure my LCP is for CQC. I carry either hydro-shok or Golden-saber rounds in the mags

I took the lcp out today for a quick range trip at lunch. I forgot how much better I shoot it compared to my j frame. This is a great shorts and t shirt gun.

25 yards last mag of 6. All were shot at a rapid pace. Not the best group at 25 but all would be in the black on a qualification target. These little guns are great and I’m sure effective with the right load.

I have one that's thin stiff leather with a sloppy fit & no retention, it needs constant attention (it turns in big pockets) so mainly I use a nylon owb with a velcro strap, Uncle Mikes I think. I'm seeking a better option.

The thing about .380, if it expands well, it severely under-penetrates. Not enough ass in the case. If it barely expands, it barely makes the minimum 12 inches and that is under ideal conditions at 10 ft.

The Underwood Xtreme Phillips Head Screwdriver rounds do 18. Ball rounds do about 25. I guess it depends on what penetration levels you are comfortable with. I’m all about maximum penetration because if something is in front of the round, it won’t penetrate that same number that you think it’ll penetrate under ideal conditions at 10 ft.

Many other holsters specifically all kydex will give you that same option and be leaps and bounds better of a choice than the AG holster

Another that came up was the stealthgear ventcore (Ruger LCP 2 Mini Ventcore® Holster). It looks tuckable but they don't specifically advertise it as such for some reason. Thanks for all your holster tips, btw, I got a Safariland for the Glock
