I just got back from a round trip drive to Florida. Stayed in Charlotte NC for one night and Columbia SC for another on the return trip. Both are towns with a heavy black population. They held doors for us in the hotel, at Dunkin Donuts, and McDonalds. We smoke so in front of the hotel we got good conversation about our dog. “ Hi. He’s so cute. Mind if I pet him?”

An aquintance got a letter in the mail from DOH after travelling by car to SC telling them they needed to quarantine. Someone is cross referencing records.

They must be tracking through EZ-Pass or vehicle plate identification through toll collection areas. It is the one thing that can tie all your travels together through multiple states. The illegal surveillance of Americans has begun and they are using Corona as justification for it.

Aren’t most toll collection points using optical character recognition on plates like the TNB and 95 North dollar toll just north of it? I have also seen seemingly random EzPass readers on highway poles.

Your cell phone provider has a record of every place you so much as stopped to piss.
They would turn those records over to the NYS health department with a cherry on top if they were asked.
If I had a flash card with that data (and it would all fit in a single card) I could tell you everyone who had spent 24 hours in a hot zone and then entered NY and it wouldn't take me more than a couple hours on my laptop.
Don't kid yourself that the government doesn't know how to mine data, or that big tech isn't eager to hand it all over.
