I've always said that if you have a gun, you have a chance. You have a trained deputy with a handgun vs a kid with an AR-15. The Deputy would have surprise and expertise on his side. I don't envy the position but that deputy should of engaged the shooter.

I always thought the word "Academia" sounded like a kind of nut. This guy puts it real simple so even the slow fellers can grasp it. I still fear it isn't plain enough for these fools to acknowledge.
