Nice find. You have a lot more resistance than I do. I don’t think I have had any gun that has not been shot, within the first year of possession with The exception of a Yugo SKS I had for almost 20 years and never shot it. I sold it this year for about 300 more than I paid for it. Correctly the only factory gun I have Un-fired is a 4” 610-3,I will correct that soon.

I had a chance to buy a Colt 1860 Army in a presentation case with accessories, never fired, never even cocked, with zero smears on the cylinder, affordable. I was ready to drop the cash when another fellow grabbed it up and said he would keep it as it is. I thanked him and said Hah, I would have shot the shit out of it.

I bought a handgun last month that I haven't fired yet - only because I'm waiting on a certain optic to come in stock. I have a used revolve I won in an auction a year or two back (sight un-seen) but when I picked it up it was in bad shape, very corroded and I'm not sure if I'd trust it without having a gunsmith inspect it... considering I only paid $100 for it.... (I was real tempted to turn it in to a recent gun buy-back for $150 and an iPad but didn't know how that would work with my pistol license)

That case alone is cool. I am a sucker for custom, hard to find, or unique cases. I have custom cases i have made for a few of my guns. Some are modern, some are old school that i have felted and divided myself. I even have an 18th century "vampire hunters" case, complete with wooden stakes adorned with pure silver crosses, pure silver bullets, real firing flintlock pistol, 15 pound mallet for hammering in those stakes, various herbs and vials of garlic and wolfsbane, and dont forget the wooden and silver crosses. I also have an "assassins" briefcase, dont ask whats in there, and a custom case for an air powered arrow gun too.

this thread is giving me ideas .. my friends wife has a Ranch limited edition 30-30 rifle .. never shot .. i'm thing on a vide of me holding it and her hubby shooting my mosin for the sound and make a video .. 3 2 1 boom and i act like i shoot .. she will fkin kll me lol sounds like fun thou

I thinks it's the silliest notion and such a waste! A fine piece of engineered equipment designed to expel an controlled explosion projectile and repeat the action again and again while exhibiting user control for accuracy down range is the name of the game!
Otherwise you might have just put the $$$ in the safe the thing cost you because it represents the exact same thing if unused! It's certainly not being appreciated appropriately...

Five years ago, the Association of Former NYS Troopers had a run of 300 Glock 21s custom-serialed and laser etched to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the NYS Police. I got two of them with consecutive serial numbers.
