Thousands of state and federal restrictive gun laws have been passed in my life time, none of which have any significant effect on anyone but those that abide by the law, and indeed, they have made criminals of hundreds of thousands probably millions of otherwise, honest, hard working, tax paying citizens. So lets' get rid of all of these, for the most part, unconstitutional laws and exact stiffer penalties, including the death penalty, for the use of guns while committing illegal acts. Its so simple, but the aim of the anti's is confiscation, that's all.

Lets be honest here. Remember Katrina and the gun confiscation? Everyone yelled you can't do that it's against the 2nd amendment. And the police did it anyway.
How about the fact that you can't carry a handgun in the city. It's against the 2nd amendment. But the police uphold it anyway.
How about the $400 residents have to pay on Long Island for a handgun license? Isn't that an infringment? And that's for a hangun to use in you home and at the range. It's not a carry permit. How do you get a carry permit? Know a high ranking official in government or have a business that deals with valuables or excessive cash. That's an infringement isn't it? Yet it's upheld by the police. In fact, you have to go through the police to apply for a permit. So they are part of the problem in that case aren't they?
So the point is, nothing is stopping the violation of the 2nd amendment. And the reason is that the police control it and uphold it. So aren't they violating the 2nd amendment? And if they are, what are you going to do about it?
See my point? If a cop comes to your door for your gun, who do you think is going to win? You or the cops? In the end you lose. That's what happened in Katrina, and that's the reality.
This is a hard pill to swallow I know. But yelling that politicians are breaking the law and that it's treason means nothing because until the police or even the military decided that they won't enforce violations of the constitution not much can be done in reality.
Every time a far left liberal comes out against guns I never hear anyone lay the problem at the feet of the police or military. They are suppose to protect us and uphold the constitution but in reality they only do that when it's convenient for them personally. They take an oath. They swear to uphold the constitution. So where are they? I don't hear high ranking military officials weighing in on gun confiscation or gun control. I never hear a police commissioner or see police officers come out in force to side with law abiding citizens. Don't mean to be harsh here, but that's the reality. So, what do you do about it?
I'm surprised the government doesn't take away our 1st amendment by making the argument that the founders didn't have the internet or modern ways of communicating that we have today and so they don't fall under protected speech. Only documents written with a quill and ink, words printed with a Gutenberg press, and non-amplified voice are protected speech. Every thing else is unprotected. Why not make that argument? That has more teeth to it than violations of the 2nd amendment that have been going on for decades.
And maybe that's what it will come to. Because you know what they say, the 2nd amendment protects the first amendment.

Yes. Because at the end of the day, Beto, Pelosi, Schumer, Trump, etc isn’t going to confiscate weapons during red flags or after tips are reported or at car stops. The police are. They are the right hand of the gun control movement.
Who arrested, assaulted, and confiscated this man’s firearm for no crime committed? Beto?

The attorney general in this video details exactly my point, often overlooked: it’s the FFL’s that enforce 99% of gun laws. Even in a place where law enforcement is hostile to gun rights, it’s still FFL’s enforcing most gun laws, by design.
No cop will ever stop a 19 year old kid in Washington from purchasing a semi-automatic rifle. But you bet the clerks at every single FFL will. Regularly.

But I think that's because if the clerk or store with the FFL violates the law, the police will come for them and hold them accountable. A police officer can simply make the decision not to arrest if they take their oath seriously, and most don't. It's a pay check and a pension for most of them. Why not create a gun control law that takes away their weapons? I bet you that the Police Benevolent Association would have a press conference 5 minutes after they heard that. They would go on about how it's endangering officers. Yeah so? My safety is at risk along with other NY residents every time we leave our homes because we're not allowed to carry any weapon to protect ourselves.
Since when did it say anywhere in our Constitution that a police officer's life is more important than non-police officers? I don't think the Constitution says that our Creator gave only police officers the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness did it?
I say let them get a taste of what it's like to be at the mercy of a criminal that is intent on harming them with no way to protect themselves and no backup.
I wonder how many innocent people have been shot, injured, or killed by police officers? Probably more than the mass "shootings"the media reports. So, where are the cries to take firearms away from the police?
My union is paid to speak for me. Why would they speak for you? Honestly if they did anything besides spend my money representing cops, I’d be on the phone with them minutes later.

And I'll leave it there because it's one of those things we just won't agree on. I love what I do. Loved it when I was an MP in the Army and I love my job now even more.
My family is, without a doubt, the most important thing to me. I work for a fantastic paycheck, my benefits and my retirement. Nothing will stop me from attaining the most that I can to better my life and the lives of my family members.
I do not ever look to violate the Rights of everyday people. Ever. I go to work everyday in a pretty upbeat manner. I have never gone to work with the intention of making the lives of others worse. I have never made another person break a law.
I have full faith in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I live to honor and respect the intentions of our Founding Fathers. They were brilliant to say the least.

I met an officer that said, "nope not me". He told me face to face he would NOT confiscate firearms from law abiding citizens if it ever came to it. Nope, not him! He wouldn't do it, he done told me so!
You just told me that my union should speak for you because its your money. What is there not to get? Are you entitled to the food in my fridge and to drive my car as well? Where does your ownership of my property end in your world? Am I allowed to vote massa?

That’s all pretty admirable but the day a call comes through that some lady defended herself in the parking lot of a NY Walmart and she only has a PA CCW, you unfortunately have to break your oath or risk your paycheck that feeds your family. There is no getting around that fact because in the end, it’s you or her and your paycheck will beat her rights every time no matter what your oath says or what your intentions were when you woke up that morning.
It’s a sad, unfortunate truth that can be made to feel better by saying to oneself that she should have known, or hands were tied due to cameras or witnesses, or it’s not up to you to determine what is constitutional or not despite what your heart really tells you deep down inside.
I do not believe you would be one of those willing and eager jackboots in the video I posted above but if you were there and you wanted to keep your job, you wouldn’t arrest the police chief for the felony he committed against the good citizen.
You might be surprised at how little I can and will do; others? I am not accountable for their actions.
I've thought about this.
Here's my conclusion.
CNN is still 100% in the tank for the Dems. They want to advance their cause and they desperately want trump to lose.
Look at everything CNN does in that lens.
CNN knows that Francis ouroke is now toxic was so much backlash Nationwide over his comments that CNN has to distance themselves because they know he won't win. So they are now trying to make themselves appear moderate and in the middle when they are not. They know Francis ouroke is finished.
My prediction is the buttgagger mayor guy also came out and called Francis out and said his ideas are stupid.
Watch for him to start gaining in the polls Nd getting more love by the media. They want to try and trick the unwitting oblivious soccer mom's into thinking the demonrat candidate is more moderate when they definitely aren't

His point was that he pays me and I pay my union with his money. It was pretty clear. What other aspects of my life are owned by this poster due to his claim to my paycheck? Or... explain the point more clearly. Let’s not be intellectually weak in our discussions.
