With much regret I have to sell my Encore to fund repairs on my truck, it sits at a driveline shop in need of $1800 axle overhaul.
This is registered and originally sold as a pistol so permit holders only. The barrel is a 209x.50mag rifle barrel that I had cut down and the bullet starter chamber cut. It shoots well, have taken a few doe and a nice 8pt with it. Will also come with the TC soft carry case. The handle area has been stitched up but still works fine. The strap on it now is just a quickie Paracord sling I made to get by. I looked at previously sold prices on Gun Broker and am listing this at the low end. $475
You know the legal jumbo and FFL of your choice.
It was a bit sketchy before the mud/freeze cycle that's been all winter, it finally gave up. The ring and pinion are shot, every bearing needs replacement, axle stubs shot, lockouts been trashed, kingpins were wore to begin with. It's a dana 60 and big parts carry a big price tag, then needing special tools to do the job correctly and not having a garage to do it myself. So it get's farmed off to the driveline shop. The Marines didn't treat it very well and they were the previous owners lol.
4.56 ...It's already at the garage to be ripped apart Monday. He didn't have a good source for lockouts or kingpins for that axle so I picked them up and dropping them off Monday. I looked long and hard for a good used 4.56 dana 60 and the only ones I could find came from CUCVs and they wouldn't sell them seperately, came as a pair and priced $2500+ depending on which CUCV they came from. As much as this is going to hurt the wallet, I'll NEVER have to be concerned about that axle again.
Bump....with a twist. I'm not deer hunting anymore so would like to get this moved along.
Would consider trade for a NV scope of equal value, maybe one of the newer digital ones? Areas I'll be hunting coyotes will likely be under 100yds so no sense in investing $2000+ for one.
