I was just at Brownells at 140ish. Little confusing there. Carbine length. Not compadible with rifle length (A2) recoil system. Fits DPMS AR10 variants with optional adapter. Didn't see one listed..... my SR can stay put for now. Got to much going on now anyway to be putting monies in that direction......no scope for it either.

If you plan on doing camo on the rifle (or if you already have) look for the blemish units which are less expensive on Thordsen web site. I’ve done two starting with OD green blemish units that came out quite well.

From what I've seen the blem units you really have to look hard to see what the problem was that caused QC to reject the stock. Your mileage may vary, of course. And as a donor stock for a paint job, I certainly never have seen any structural issues with the blem'd units. So a potentially smart money move to get one if you're going to paint anyway.
I havent had a chance to shoot it yet, but the S&W I won in a raffle earlier in the year has a Gen III on it and for what it is (yet another kick in the balls BS Act-compliant stock) it is very comfortable and looks a lot nicer than the older models, for sure.

I agree with BD in Putnam, Hard to see blemish. Mine were accurately described as slight non uniformity in green color. You had to look close in good light to see it .

I priced them against the $49.99 OD stock on clearance, when I added in the buffer tube cover it was $1 cheaper than the blemished ones.
If I'm allowed to make a recommendation I would say New York legal arms on Facebook has a better option than the thorsden, my personal preference is running a spur grip with a Patrick Henry trigger guard. When I first built my AR I just couldn't stomach the thordsen stock. If you want to get real crazy somewhere on here someone sells these crazy trigger guards that have like three finger grooves I'm pretty sure.
