I was at the range last week. I always bring at least 2 rifles or handguns, as you can keep shooting while the barrel cools on your rifle in between strings, versus sitting there marking time.
With the exception of a BX trigger and the addition of Warne rings and bases, plus a Leupold FX-1 4x28 rimfire scope, this is a bone stock Ruger 10/22 Carbine with factory barrel and stock.
There are 4 bulls on the 8-1/2×11 sheet. The "10 ring" is 1". This group is just shy of 1-1/2" @ 50 yards, CCI standard velocity 40 gr lead round nose, not bad since I was just shooting casually off the bench killing time between rifles, making sure it was sighted in well enough for the wife to plink 2" metal swingers with. She loves shooting it. Imagine if I had taken it more seriously. Next trip out.
