You said $50 for 12. If you sell the six for $10-$12 each u r winning. Then u can buy real good mags. And get those other 4 (good ones) for free
I have a gen 1 - 10/30 hex mag on my first AR build. I must say I don't like it at all. It really wiggles in the mag well more than my pmag, and Has double fed A couple of times, and causes jams pretty often. Didn't know there was that many problems until I just saw this thread lol.

Point taken Bullet. I get it.
I do have an adequate supply of reliable mags but the joy of testing questionable mags though.....it was fun and a first for me.

I used to have a few 10/30 Hexmags Gen 1 (10 rounds pinned in a 30-round length mag)... word of warning to any users, with some force you could fit 11 rounds into it (apparently a well known issue). It also had issues with dropping-free from the mag well.
Now I stick to 10-round PMags and pinned 10/30 Lancer mags. I haven't shot enough to have a preference.
