Thoughts On Wearing Gun Logo Apparel

A few times when I’ve been out in a bar the night before Thanksgiving in the town I grew up in I’ve pretended not to have any idea who people are who have come up to me I just tell them to have a good night and the conversation is over and they walk away.

I’m putting a decent set of dash cams in my ride for a couple reasons and @Chevusa does have a point. Mostly putting the cams for if some jackass slams into me, or if someone fucks with my car. I didn’t break my ass to buy nice car just for some swamp donkey to fuck it up.

Easy 2/3 to 3/4 of my t-shirts have some kind of gun related stuff on them. The only thing its ever led to was pleasant conversation and complements. One time I wa at Gettysburg and while we were walking around we talked to a reenactor. He noticed the shirt I was wearing from a match and said since I was into guns would I like to check out the rifle he was holding. It was on loan to the Gettysburg museum and was documented to have been used at Picketts Charge. It was a cool experience.

As to vehicles, I tend to use the back window like a billboard. I've never had any issues with vandalism.

But I did wear my Vedder Holster T-shirt recently to the grocery story and some guy told me I could go in front of him at the deli counter “because I probably had a gun on me” lol

I don't typically wear gun related shirts when I'm carrying just in case some asshole wants to hedge his bets that I have a gun on me and reports to the police that I brandished or something. Pretty unlikely, but so is the chance that I'll need my gun and I carry that all the time.

I stopped using stickers on my vehicle and now use magnets. I take them off when I go in anywhere so nobody f's with my car, but I still get to piss off the SJW's in their Pukeswagons.

I don't care what looks I get with gun related clothing. My CUCV has armed infidel written in Arabic on the tailgate. Did have a Binghamton cop asked me why I was wearing a Glock hat once, I said because thats what I carry. Ended the conversation there.
As much as I hate the NRA I do wear an NRA hat a lot just to piss off liberals. I do get some pretty dirty looks lol.

I’ve worn gun and flag shirts. Never had a problem. Ever. I will not do it on my car though. I once had the words Fuck Your scratched on my hood once. I’m pretty sure it happened when parked in the city once and the only thing I have on the jeep is veterans plates.

It didn’t happen at work. I’m pretty sure of it since the car is in a train yard, there are cameras everywhere, lots of veterans, and I have no issues with anyone.

If someone claimed I was “brandishing” I would ask the police to get a detailed description of the firearm from the claimant as well as witness statements. It would quickly fall apart there.

I've been wearing NRA and pro-gun shirts for years, and have NRA and FUAC stickers on my car. Never have I been hassled or had my vehicle vandalized. I guess I live in the right county.

I have had people ask me what FUAC means. I get a hearty laugh and a handshake of approval when I tell them.

Same. I have a camo Hornday cap I'll wear here and there, and a subtle Browning hunting jacket but that's pretty much all I have, anyway.

I have one of those on a T-shirt that I got from a gun show where DD's Ranch had a table. I mostly have worn it to gun shows. I also have an NRA hat that I mostly use when mowing the lawn of up on the tractor (not a big hat guy most of the time).

Generally speaking I prefer being the grey man.
