Sad to see you close up shop @CaliberPlus but it's good that you have the moral fortitude not to contribute to the NYS illegal/bullshit activities. My FFL in Syracuse says he'll probably throw in the towel soon too. He said he might continue on for a few of his current clients, but if so it will be scaled back, very limited. It's blatantly obvious what the NYS end goal is, less guns/ammo and more control. over the serfs. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do next!
I am by NO means a legal expert. That disclaimer out of the way....
I don't know how well refusing to sell guns, ammo, etc. NYS LEOs would go over. Seems similar to bakery owners legal problems when he refused to do a wedding cake for a gay couples marriage. I know, guns and cakes have nothing in common LOL. But would the gun shop owner face charges of discrimination like the cake maker did? I think the cake maker won out in the end, but at a big cost.
its your store .. i wonder the same
this store will no longer sell guns and ammo to any state govt employee
need to put your occupation on paper when buying ammo in nys now ..
