Thumbhole stock Shotgun

Ok I know this is like beating a dead horse again
but I thought after safe act one couldnt have a shotgun with a thumbhole stock but today at Fieldn Stream saw many pistol grip shotguns and one used thumbhole stock shotgun.
Was told that as long as the mag tube has dimples and limits the mag to 5 shots we can have a thumbole stock.

Really confused now , as the link says it is ok to have a thumbhole stock shotty..

and even the state site when you select semi auto doesnt require it to be registered.

I have to take back my previous post I think. This is why I shouldn't post when I'm falling asleep. I believe there is actually an exemption for "A semiautomatic shotgun that cannot hold more than 5 rounds, in a fixed or detachable magazine".

So sounds like a 5 round mag tube is ok with the thumbhole stock..
Sad that this makes me happy to be allowed to have that stock..

Grind out the dimples and add an extended tube??? Kinda like the standard 870 mod.

that site is probably the closest thing to concise we will ever get so if it says its good id say your safe.
