I'm pretty sure everyone knows, not like we hold back here, lolI've been begging for the dislike button for forever. It's too much like facebook here sometimes. People need to know!
I bet you would have gotten lots of dislikes for this post.Absolutely 100% never happening.
Don't give a shitI bet you would have gotten lots of dislikes for this post.

Fine. I don't like your post."Use your words. Use your words. Use your words."
Fine. I don't like your post.
I would use it mostly for Nortatoga and Truebeliever anyway. There isn't anyone else who I normally would dislike their posts on a regular basis. Was that so hard?
I think my point earlier was, its easy to follow the herd. Personally I don't have a problem if that's a "like." Where it bugs me is some Facebook-y bullshit passive aggressive "dislike."
"Like" is an easy, passive yet affirmative, "yeah, I agree" thing; following the herd is easy.
"Dislike" as a button is for pussies in the context of this discussion. Just, again, my two cents.
Last I checked, most here aren't followers.
Note that I've done it twice here with you, without a button (and, for the record, I like and respect you a whole bunch, just completely disagree with you here on this issue).

It was a joke.Why?
It was a joke.
It's a joke.So it's all about you and two people.
Absolutely 100% never happening.
It works the exact same way with the dislike. If someone else articulates why you're wrong, why should everybody articulate the exact same reason why you're wrong.you agree with something there is really no need for redundant statements affirming that unless there is another point to be made off of the original post.
Because that builds an opposing argument rather than just piling on the dislike wagon. Agreeing with someone, be it through the "like" option or through supportive posts is easier to do than straight up disagreeing with someone, because unless someone directly calls you out specifically for agreeing with something, you don'y have to defend it. When you pose a counter opinion you have to defend that position. It takes work and an educated stance. The dislike button circumvents that obligation to articulate your position. It works the exact same way with the dislike. If someone else articulates why you're wrong, why should everybody articulate the exact same reason why you're wrong.
