Tile backsplash project

Been working on small project for another forum member.

Couple courses of tile were already removed for new countertop when I got there.



Removed remaining tiles and skim coated wall.



Primed wall and set tiles today.





Grout and caulk tomorrow...

I swear it was impossible to take my tiles off when I did this. I tried the tricks. Ended up having to get new drywall in there.

Oh they came off and took a lot of the drywall paper with them that's why I skim coated wall first. I used a Fein super cut with scraper attachment and flat pry bar.

The tile came off pretty easy so did the old sheet rock...I couldn’t get new wiring up the wall so...
