Good pick IMO. The Democrats were already going to almost certainly win Minnesota as it is. Walz is not a black person so this pick probably will not help Harris when it comes to that voting block. It might not hurt, but I don't see it helping either. And more of that kind of stuff.

I'm glad Harris I mean those that are actually in charge, like Obama/Pelosi didn't or more correctly couldn't pick Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. You know, the Jewish thing. Pennsylvania is a must-have swing state for both Harris and Trump, so yeah, I'm glad it wasn't Shapiro. I'm also glad they didn't pick Arizona's gun-grabbing Mark Kelly. That's who I thought they would go with.

The Democrats did not help themselves at all by choosing Walz IMHO. Why did they go with him as Harris's running mate? I'm sort of suspicious because I think there were much better picks to be had for the Democrat ticket. But maybe I'm missing something, or just overthinking it. IDK.

Personally, I think Minnesota is closer than any of the talking heads want to tell you and Harris' internal polling shows this crystal clear. That, and the fact that Shapiro is Jewish, are the reasons they went with Walz. If Shapiro wasn't Jewish, they'd go with him in a heartbeat to try and salvage PA.

All I have to say is if this article is half true the democrats made a much better strategic pick. Trump had better start thinking again if he wa yes to win because what I’m seeing right now will not win moderates or reach the other side of the isle with this choice for democrats. Democrats thought strategically and Trump just reacted again.

Walz is an avowed socialist and a radical. The "squad" will be happy with this pick.

I'm happy with it too, Walz has a long record that he can be hammered on. Plus he doesn't really bring much of anything to the table like a few of the other VP contenders would have.
