Well, I got a response from the white house.
Pretty much standard boiler plate. To be expected though.

That means making our communities great again by supporting law enforcement, rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, fixing our education system so that workers can get good jobs, and fighting to eradicate the scourge of drugs that is spoiling the promise of our youth. We must also return to the values and protect the Constitutional freedoms that made America a beacon of hope and opportunity to the world, including the right to keep and bear arms.

Which I'm sure is the copy paste portion of the letter so they can insert the topic you wrote about.

National politicians will most likely send a "canned response" to your letter although I've received hand signed responses that were subject specific.

State and Local Pols are more likely to respond with a hand written response.

They don't care regardless. The only thing we can do is vote them out which isn't possible if they are a Dem.

The mentioning of these organizations working towards "securing our rights" was mentioned LONG ago.

As far as "working to secure our rights" is concerned, we'll agree to disagree on that.

By the way...the last legal "update" on NYSRPA website regarding UnSafe, October 2015.

Snow Flake, liberal minion New Yorkers (and some gun owners) have basically abdicated their 2nd Amend. gun rights by allowing NY unSAFE act to continue to be the law in this state.

The NRA has long forsaking us in terms of our guns rights. NYSRPA has been impotent in rallying gun owners in this state to fight NYS unSAFE act.
SCOPE is the only organization that is really trying to make a difference in our cause. But lack of support in the gun owner community makes their efforts very very difficult.
