They’re closing in on all sides. NYS could be worse, like WA state’s new ban. At least we have options for (crippled) AR platform guns in NYS, and we can lawfully buy parts online. NYS could be worse, yes, but that doesn’t make it ok. The days of guns in America are numbered if certain pols have their way.

For now. I think NYS will ban all semi automatic rifles sooner than later. They have to have the most restrictive gun laws in the USA and then CA will do something worse. Nys and CA have always jockied for that position and they will not be outdone.

Its already been stated that they are "prepared to go back to muskets".
I'm kinda stoked really. I have some sketches already on an auto-loading black powder system. SBR and SBS are not federally regulated nor is a permanent suppressor. I would have to reread NY's definition of such but it could be a good time and subsequent court battle.

Even though the anti-2A stuff continues to spread to other states. I still plan on moving out of NY. For me, there are more things at play than just the 2A issues.

Lower property taxes and better weather are a couple of quick examples. Being around my own kind is important too. Although where I live in NY, I'm fortunate enough to be living in a Conservative bubble. That helps a little bit.

But yeah, even if the draconian gun laws keep spreading to other red states or go federal.
I will still be much better off getting out of New York and going to a red state when I look at the big picture.

I don't like the idea of living in the same state where the State Governor wanted to impose "quarantine camps" - "with no due process" until a judge struck that down as unconstitutional. And on top of that, FUKH is appealing that decision...

Fuck all that, I'm working on getting out of commie land no matter what goes on as far as the 2A issues around the rest of the country.
