Today is the NYS primary anyone voting?

Turnout was low like the guy who checked me it was doing it for the first time and it was 10AM.

I will look at totals later to see if anyone so stupid to go vote for the candidates that resigned already.

I cannot avoid it as the polling place is 300 years from my house.

I don't trust the system as they seem to serialize your ballot and then can see who you voted for later. What's up with that?

Yes I saw that. I went to the wrong polling place today because my normal one was shutdown because the building changed hands.

So what's the deal with this NY primary. My gf as well as others said Biden was on the ballot along with Trump, Hailey, etc. Trump being at the bottom. Then hearing from registered democrats that Biden was the only one on the Democrat ballots. NY playing games or is there more to it that I'm not getting?

From what I understand there are two primary ballots since NYS does closed primaries. One ballot for the democrats and the other ballot was for republicans and had Trump, Hailey, Christie, and ramswami if I remember correctly. Of course only Biden and Trump are in the actually running. Marian Williamson has run the past few years but does nothing other than toss her name on the ballot.

I can’t believe how bad it is under him. He has to be doing this on purpose. I can’t think of one thing or one person that says anything is better. I’m not a huge Trump fan because the guy just can’t shut his mouth and not say stupid or rude things but I’ll vote for him this time around. I just can’t believe out of a country of 320 million people that these are the only two viable candidates. It kind of makes me sad and sick feeling. I mean they are both almost 80 years old and Biden’s approval rating has been sub 40% for how long now and yet he’s winning by a lot. I can’t think of anyone that’s happy with Biden. I know some pretty liberal people that can’t stand him and think the illegals and gay/trans stuff has gone way too far.

Not picking on You but ALL of US are to blame for what is the condition of the border, economy,foreign affairs,entitlements, etc. All of Congress and the Executive Branch of government are more interested in their “position” rather than the Country. They point fingers at each other and say what they would do if in complete control. Well, everyone in the Executive and Legislatives branches are all guilty of treason for not upholding their oath to office. We, on the other hand, bitch, rather than do anything. Late 60’s and early 70’s the “Boomers” were protesting everything; ie Viet Nam..bra burning..name it. WE are all sheep and far too complacent. Just what the Government brain trust has planned all along

When candidates are spending 10s to 100s of millions of $$$......the best candidates will never be known.
