Just curious but do you have to note that on your permit that you have the other calibers? I realize that it's the same serial number but wasn't sure if one needed to do that or not.

Yes you do have to ammend your permit for an additional caliber. The only serial number that matters is the one on the frame. For the 320 it might be the number on the fire control mechanism.
yes - the guys i took the ny course from was the same place i purchased the 320. They told me to put all the calibers on my permit. so it has the serial and then "9mm/.40/.45/.357". However the 357 seems to be cut off on my actual license - not enough space to print it.

I picked up a 9mm conversion kit for my .40 p229 when they were on sale not too long ago. Down the road maybe a .22LR and a .357 sig kit also. My son likes this gun, but he also likes my Hi-Power and my Colt 1911. He can have anything he wants after he gets his permit.
