BREAKING: A Chicago woman told Mayor Brandon Johnson to his face that he will be ARRESTED by President Trump for harboring & protecting illegals from deportation units.

"You're not going to exist for the next election because there's a 10-year prison sentence..."

For every politician in a so-called sanctuary state that refuses to assist federal law enforcement with the deportation of illegal aliens, realize that Federal law supersedes anything that the states of localities implement. It's been that way since the founding of this country.

How so, if the Desk Sgt is complying with written law of that state?

The State legislature determines what local cops/deputies/troopers enforce. If the state passes a law requiring a desk appearance ticket for certain offenses, how is the cop/deputy/trooper at fault for complying with state laws requiring those summonses to be issued?

If the desk Sargeant is violating federal law, then he should go to jail for it, regardless of what his state law says.

"Just following orders" cannot be an excuse any more than "ignorance of the law".

Should a truck driver get out of a speeding ticket because "my dispatcher said the load had to be there by 8pm" ?

I realize that cops have gotten used to the idea that they won't be prosecuted for any crime they commit while doing their job, but we absolutely need to fix that.

Instead of thinking they can do anything they want as long as it's related to their job.

Was reading an article about a department in Florida that was manufacturing their own drugs to use in busts. They got caught and just told they had to stop.

Anyone else would go to prison.

Every cop who knew about it should be in prison. They absolutely knew you need a dozen kinds of licenses they didn't have for that to be legal.

Same thing with those stingray cell phone interceptors. You need some serious FCC licenses and special clearances to operate something like that, especially in a city. But police departments all seem to think "we're investigating a crime" means they can just break whatever laws they want, because nobody's going go prosecute them.

Fuck that.

Exactly. And it all leads to the cattle cars as they say.."Just following orders". Same holds true with the White coat killers injecting Bioweapons.
