I'd have to look at my note book, I spent close to $5,000 on gun related stuff this year.
One of my decent buys was a stainless Ruger New Model 44 magnum revolver with a 10 or 10 1/2" barrel.
I bought a new stainless Ruger Single-Seven in 327 Federal magnum, can't remember if it was early this year of last year from Bud's Guns, it is still sitting in the box unfired.
I also bought another S&W 642 that was on sale for $359 from Costal Farm Supply. Still sitting in the box unfired. I bought it just incase something happens to the one I carry.

I am in the same boat. Can’t remember if I bought anything not gun related this year.
I know you're kidding, but for the record and the sake of transparency, donations don't come through me at all. While the three of us are all technically to be considered equal site owners, ultimately we run on @NYGuns 's server so the bills wind up in his hands. Donations go to his company to pay some of those bills. If there were an excess of money made past the sites's costs, presumably he'd let us know and NF and I would have some part in the decision of how that money was used for the site. Currently however I don't believe that's the case because the majority of the site's costs for the last two years have been billed to his company and we're still playing catch up (as far as I know).

Ya I have only lightly used it. So no idea if it will stand the test of time. I'm really interested in using the pneumatic stapler.

A Red River Tactical Holster for the P99C. It took 2 months before it arrived and, while it holds the gun snuggly, it rides high. I am hold off on my final opinion until I try a new belt clip.

I purchased a Hidden hand gun shelf and a custom foam insert for it
I purchased a new set of prescription glasses for shooting
I purchased a STI 9MM 2011 Edge ( never just visit a gun store)
I purchased a MAG pump magazine loader (I bought it for Jay mustangs birthday as a gift to my self )
I purchase 3 of these magazine loader (This was a black Friday sale i just cant pass up a sale )
I purchased a custom set of molded ear plugs
I also purchase a new completion belt,Blade tec Holster and Magazine holster for completion for my new STI Edge
I also acquired 2 New Glock hand guns thru GSSF Shooting competitions G17 Gen 5 & a G26 Gen 5
Now I know its not gun related but I also traded my Vintage 1962 Corvette for a 2018 Corvette. I went a little over board in spending in 2018 knowing that in 2019 we are starting our search for our retirement home on the west coast of Florida Just north of Clearwater Area

I picked up a sweet Troy PAR 223 from another user here. This year hasn't been great... Had 8 weeks off work to care for family. Put a real hurting on the acquisitions budget.
Better luck next year. Post your sale stuff in classifieds, as of tax season I'm looking, and I would much rather support the community than big box stores or mail order.

I purchased a set of these with an eye glass insert , (look under there perception glasses )
Smith Aegis Echo II Protective Sunglasses You order the addition insert (found in prescription glasses on there website) and then you bring your unloaded gun to the eye dr (make sure he is good with it) and then set your glasses to your sights. The custom molded Ear protection I got from a vendor at the CMP range while I was working at a match in Talladega Alabama , you see them often at gun shows, Make sure you get the ones with the tube you can un cap as they are so effective you cant hear range command .

RIA 1911 45, my first. Love everything about it. Has upgraded grips, hammer, trigger, magwell, sights, it's a serious piece. Shoots great. The Barnes hollow points I got look great too, quite a pairing.
Bravo Concealment iwb holster for my Shield. After talking about my carry position, I decided to change that and now comfortably carry around 4:00ish. I'm glad I did.
New Talon grip for my Shield. The sandpaper like grip I had on before was actually very grippy, but not fun to carry. Got the rubber grip and can carry without an undershirt.
Can't think of a worst yet. I research and hem and haw for so long that I don't usually make bad purchases, as I've usually weighed all possibilities of any purchase during my long process.

Like anything I research, I did ask the opinions of one or two others after that thread to come to my answer. I'm not afraid to admit when I don't know something, so I was glad for the seasoned advice. Many more benefits now, including not injuring my spine if I fall, lol, and easier/faster reach of my gun. Not all bad things
