Top Banner No Longer Working Like Before

I don't know what happened but starting today, the top banner no longer works like before. Previously, the alert button was at the top right of my screen. Now it isn't. I have to scroll the banner to see if I have alerts and it ends up screwing up the whole page.

I'm running Android Chrome. In the first screenshot, the alert button is missing.



In this 2nd screenshot, I scrolled the banner over and it moves the whole page over.

I just switched to the light style default page color mode. It works fine. If I switch back to dark blue, it goes haywire again.

I just tried all the dark colors. They all allow the page to be moved to the left.

The light style doesn't do that and keeps everything where it's supposed to be.

Yeah weird issues like these always happen on our dark themes I changed to light and everything works fine but I don't like light. so I deal with the issues

Me too. It looks to cartoony.

It's pretty clear what it is. We've recently changed up some things with our ad banners and the oversized banner at the bottom is messing with the main css box model. The new ad box isn't added to the light style yet; thus no issue there.
It's not a devastating problem.We'll work it out.

It's just that most of the dark styles are based on a single configuration. The only difference between them is the css the end user gets served that determines the colors of text and such. The light style is a separate thing (sort of), so basically that means that we'd have to make some/most changes at least twice. Once for light, once for ALL the darks (and maybe again for some of the oddball darks, I'm not certain). It doesn't really matter if we make a change to the light or dark styles first, it's just that we've tended to do the dark first for whatever reason.

Of course. Blinding bright lightwaves shooting into your eye sockets is never the best thing for healthy eyecare. Dark, comfortable viewing is way better for them..(and for not being scouted out from a mile away while checking the forum at night)

I fixed this, if you are still experiencing the issue it will be resolved shortly. Cache and all that crap

I'm going to close this thread also because the question/problem has been responded to as much as it can. Otherwise the help threads tend to turn into a lot of chatter that only makes reference for both people seeking help/answers and also ourselves as forum staff more difficult. These can all be opened again or added to if need be later on.
